Hi, my name is Gershon Wolfe. I have been developing software algorithms for over 30 years, mainly in the field of statistical mechanics and have been playing and composing music since 2008. I studied both classical and jazz violin with Scott Tixier for four years, between 2010 and 2014. I have developed a technique called, TopoTonics, which combines topological geometry with the characteristics of tonal and atonal behavior to create simple, yet elegant, contemporary classical compositions. I have a B.S. in chemistry from UCLA, a Ph.D in physical chemistry from the University of Washington, and a postdoctoral fellowship in molecular dynamics from UCSF. tile
